The investigation of paint finishes of the Grey House was carried out as contract research work via the Architectural Conservation Laboratory at the University of Hong Kong.
Results of the investigation including analysis of paint finishes and recommendations for future conservation works at the building were submitted to the client, the St. James’ Settlement, HK, who is managing the conservation project of the Blue House Cluster.
